Android 5.0 has been making the rounds lately, and that trend continues with the software being sent out to LG’s G2 under T-Mobile’s network.
T-Mobile confirmed that the rollout will begin on Tuesday, April 14, and says it’s scheduled to keep being sent out until May 22, so quite the stretch. T-Mobile’s official page says that the new software includes “features and improvements,” but what those are exactly the magenta carrier doesn’t elaborate. Even under the “Improvements,” section only “N/A” is shown. Of course, with as many tastes of the Lollipop update that have been released lately, G2 owners should expect plenty of Material Design to be present on their newly updated smartphone, including new lock screen notifications and plenty more.
The update will bump the G2 to Android 5.0.2, software version D80130b.
Do you have an LG G2? Are you looking forward to this update?
