OnePlus Two reportedly set to arrive Q3 2015

Some initial rumors had suggested the OnePlus Two, the followup to the OnePlus One from 2014, would arrive sometime in the second or third quarters of 2015. Now, a new feature from Bloomberg has allegedly confirmed when fans should expect to see the new smartphone unveiled.

According to the report published on April 15, OnePlus will debut the OnePlus Two sometime in the third quarter of 2015. Unfortunately, specific details on what the device will feature — like a metal frame or a higher price tag — were not confirmed. However, it seems possible, considering OnePlus is allegedly also considering launching a cheaper smartphone by the end of 2015.

As it stands now, OnePlus is currently looking for funding to expand its brand and possibilities through venture capitalists in the United States, as revealed by the company’s co-founder, Carl Pei:

We lack the experience to help us grow one step further, so we are actually in talks with VCs in the Valley,” Pei said in an interview at company headquarters in Shenzhen, China. “The most important part is access to experience and senior-level talent that will help us scale further.

The OnePlus One sold more than one million units, so expectations for the OnePlus Two are certainly high. Did you pick up a OnePlus One?
