Remember how the OnePlus One started getting its Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12 update last week? Well, I’ve got some bad news and some good news for you OnePlus One owners.
OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei announced today that the rollout of Cyanogen OS 12 has been put on hold. The good news is that the pause was put in place so that the “Ok OnePlus†hotword could be activated, and Pei says that you’ll be able to use it even when the One’s screen is off. And thankfully, the pause isn’t going to last long, because Pei says that the push should get back underway by mid-week.
OTA rollout was paused due to new “OK OnePlus” feature being added. Should resume mid week.

Considering that the Cyanogen OS 12 update arrived a bit later than OnePlus said it would, I’m sure that some OnePlus owners are disappointed to learn that the update’s rollout has been stopped. It won’t be long before the push starts again, though, and you’ll even have another feature to mess with one it starts up. It’s worth noting that if you’ve already got Cyanogen OS 12 on your OnePlus One, you’ll get the “Ok OnePlus†hotword in an over the air update.
