HTC has released the ridiculously high-end J Butterfly for Japan

HTC is known for creating outrageously good devices for the Japanese market, and this year’s J Butterfly is no exception. The HTC J Butterfly is packed with a Snapdragon 810 chip and 3GB of RAM to keep it humming along. It’s going to need the power, as the front features a 5.2-inch QHD (2560×1440) display and the back features a 20-megapixel rear camera with an additional Duo Camera, for the same great features as the One M9+.

Other specs include a massive 13-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB of storage plus a microSD card slot, 2700mAh battery, BoomSound stereo speakers, LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi and Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 over top. In terms of design, the J Butterfly looks like more of a Desire device than a One device. It features a polycarbonate unibody that’s also dust and waterproof, setting it far apart from most other HTC phones.

Unfortunately, the HTC J Butterfly will remain a Japan exclusive, with more exclusivity added on top by only being available from au by KDDI.
