How To Turn Off App Permissions On The Galaxy S7 And Galaxy S7 Edge

indir (3)It’s a well-known fact that application developers like to request access to just about any permission they can get away with. I often find this slightly suspicious, especially when I’m installing a third-party alarm clock that’s wanting to monitor my incoming calls, calendar entries and current location. Thankfully, Samsung has made it extremely easy to view and revoke Application Permissions on its latest smartphones, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, so you can easily stay on top of what information the applications you’re installing have the keys to.

Accessing the menu couldn’t be easier, either. All you have to do is open upSettings, locate and select Privacy and Safety, then tap on App Permissions. You will then be greeted with a breakdown of all of the different access points on your smartphone, including body sensors, calendar, contacts, SMS, storage and telephone. Simply tap a heading to see a complete list of applications that have access to its data. If you see something you don’t like the look of, slide the toggle from On to Off to block it from viewing any information on this partition of your device in the future.
