We have to wonder how many people really buy Google Play gift cards. It seems like a solid idea since you’re able to buy apps, music, and more from the Play Store, but is it actually that popular? The service has been available in the States for three years, yet the expansion to other countries hasn’t exactly been speedy.

But for those of you who like the idea, Google Play gift cards will soon be coming to India. Google has listed the country along with terms of service, though retail partners haven’t been posted yet. So you can’t buy the cards yet, but you will be able to soon.

The cards will come in 500 INR, 1000 INR, and 1500 INR, which is $7.81, $15.61, and $23.42 respectively in US dollars. Is anyone interested?
